Limiting Subcontractor Job Statuses

We understand that subcontractors aren’t required for all stages of jobs, which is why we’ve made it possible to limit the number of statuses they have available.

Viewing Status Availability

To access your Job Status Settings page click here, or click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the app. From the dropdown menu, select ‘Statuses’, and then select ‘Job Statuses’.

On this page, you can view, edit, create and delete statuses.

By default, your statuses are all automatically set to be available to subcontractors.

You can quickly view this setting in the table under the heading 'Available to Subcontractors'.

Editing Status Availability

To edit a status’s availability, click on the ‘...’ button, and then select ‘edit’.

A pop up will appear where you can edit all aspects of the status.

In particular, you will need to tick or untick:

  • Available to subcontractors

If you’ve set a job’s status to one that isn’t available to subcontractors, they will still be able to see the status, but when they go to change it, they will be limited by what you’ve allowed.
